With the installation of the final girder, Phase 1 of China’s revolutionary High-speed Flying Train (Low Vacuum Tube Maglev) test line – spanning 2 kilometers – is now structurally complete. Designed for 1,000 km/h speeds (faster than commercial aircraft), this system redefines rapid transit through low-vacuum environments, delivering unprecedented velocity, convenience, comfort, and safety.
HCR’s Engineering Contribution:
As critical partners in this milestone project, we deployed our 500T Straddle Carrier and expert operating team for all girder erection operations. Through 6 months of precision execution, our equipment’s zero-failure performance and crew’s technical proficiency ensured seamless completion of the elevated guideway – directly enabling the next phase of speed trials.
