In the predawn hours of November 27th, amber work lights pierced the darkness at the Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou Railway site. HCR's 1000-ton DJ1000 beam erector achieved a critical milestone – perfectly installing the final girder at 03:30 after a 5-hour marathon, completing the overhead crossing over the busy Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou Railway.
Project Highlights
▶ Precision Timing: Executed within 22:30 (Nov 26) to 03:30 (Nov 27) maintenance window
▶ Integrated Process: Simultaneously accomplished launching, positioning, transport and erection
▶ Steel Colossus: 2.135km structure with 50 box girders and 4 continuous beams
Engineering Excellence
The DJ1000 showcases China's manufacturing prowess:
✓ Heavyweight Mastery: Designed for 40-meter-span/1000-ton box girders
✓ Rapid Deployment: Fast assembly and relocation capabilities
✓ Intelligent Operation: Highly mechanized for HSR/urban rail standards
As dawn broke, this aerial corridor spanning a vital railway artery stood completed. The DJ1000's steel limbs continue weaving new threads into China's inter-city rail network.
